about

Wilderwater is the alias of producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Aaron Shafer-Haiss. Having worked on Grammy nominated records as well as music for HBO, Netflix, Showtime, CBS and the CW, this is something new. ONE is an album upside down. It’s Hilma Af Klint making a movie with the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson helping Wassily Kandinsky finish a painting. Where a typical album features a single lead singer and multiple musicians, ONE is an organic take on the classic mix tape - all the music and all the instruments are written, performed and produced by Shafer-Haiss before inviting some of his favorite singers to collaborate. Featuring Erin Rae, Andrew Combs, Shelly Fairchild, Kyshona Armstrong, and Patrick Krief, ONE finds these acclaimed artists in new territory, stretching into new sounds not found on their own releases.
